SUPERVISED CONTACT
ISWnorthwest believes that Supervised Contact should be an enjoyable experience for children and their parents. After supervising countless contact sessions, ISWnorthwest has become adept at efficiently supervising contact and offering parenting advice whilst still allowing children to see their parents in more familiar locations. This might be a parents home, a local park, a restaurant. ISWnorthwest has contact with various play centres and can also offer supervised contacts in such settings out of hours, where the facility is quieter for families as well as in more traditional family centres.

IN THE COMMUNITY
This is a very popular choice with parents as it allows them to engage with their children in local parks, playgrounds or restaurants. Settings where children and parents can relax together without been so conscious there is a social worker present.

IN A PARENTS HOME
ISWnorthwest also provides Supervised Contact in the parents own home.
This style of contact is not appropriate in all cases and a risk assessment will be completed to ensure the home is safe with no significant risks posed to the children, or staff.

IN A VENUE
A more traditional form of supervised contact, this is where contact is held in a local community or family centre.
Reports will be completed within 48 hours of each contact detailing what took place in the contact, how parents responded to the children and observations of the child's behaviours.
